Students enrolled in a total of 123,280 credit hours for spring 2016, a 2,421 hour or 2 percent increase from the 120,859 hours generated in spring 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The official census date for the spring semester was Feb. 3. Figures were generated by the Office of Institutional Research.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am pleased more students are selecting UCCS for their education,&#8221; Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak said. &#8220;However, it is imperative that we, as faculty and staff members, do our very best to make their experience at UCCS positive, helping them to achieve their goal of graduating.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Since spring 2012, student enrollment has increased by 1,742 students or 19 percent.
