The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are pleased to support and provide the venue for this important discussion,&#8221; Venkat Reddy, dean, College of Business, said. &#8220;Unethical business practices impact communities both large and small, and it is a critical time for ethics in business to be part of our national conversations about education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The discussion will center on the case of the former Dixon, Illinois city controller Rita Crundwell who embezzled $53 million during a period of more than 20 years. Her case was chronicled in the documentary, &#8220;All the Queen\u2019s Horses,&#8221; portions of which will be shown at the event. Organizers hope the film and discussion will raise awareness of white collar crime and the importance of ethical decision making.
