The regents, as part of the Intercollegiate Athletic Committee, will hear presentations by Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak, Steve Kirkham, athletic director, Susan Szpyrka, vice chancellor, Administration and Finance, and Martin Wood, senior vice chancellor, Advancement, until approximately 1 p.m. An executive session not open to the public is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>At 5:30 p.m., the regents and university leaders will have dinner at the Roaring Fork Dining Hall in the new Village at Alpine Valley student housing complex.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 11, the regents will participate in a 9\/11 remembrance ceremony near the Engineering Building. The regular meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to last until 4 p.m. in Berger Hall.\u00a0At approximately 12:45 p.m., following a host campus report by Shockley-Zalabak, the regents will present a UCCS 50th anniversary resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Several UCCS-specific items are on the agenda including new degrees in athletic training, exercise science, and inclusive elementary education.
