{"id":18412,"date":"2015-04-13T10:18:41","date_gmt":"2015-04-13T16:18:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=18412"},"modified":"2018-01-06T14:29:55","modified_gmt":"2018-01-06T21:29:55","slug":"spas-knell-named-employee-of-the-quarter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=18412","title":{"rendered":"SPA\u2019s Knell named Employee of the Quarter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whether overseeing the daily operations of the office, managing course schedule preparation, orienting new lecturers to campus, or supporting an employee search, Lindsay Knell\u2019s dedication is unquestionable.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_18413\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18413\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_2443.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18413\" src=\"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_2443-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"Lindsay Knell\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18413\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lindsay Knell<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>That dedication was recently rewarded when Knell, program assistant, School of Public Affairs, was named Employee of the Quarter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Lindsay] is responsive to all of our constituents \u2013 students, faculty, staff, and guests \u2013 and she does so with utmost professionalism on a day-to-day basis,\u201d Crista Hill, outreach student services specialist, SPA, said.<\/p>\n<p>While Knell\u2019s duties may be spread out, she will be the first to tell you where her passion lies: working with the students, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve worked in higher education since 2004 and can\u2019t imagine a better work environment,\u201d Knell said. \u201cEvery day on this campus, students are connecting with mentors, developing skills, and discovering new interests. They are here to better themselves and that\u2019s very inspiring to be around.
