{"id":17322,"date":"2014-12-10T14:00:25","date_gmt":"2014-12-10T21:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=17322"},"modified":"2022-11-29T17:50:45","modified_gmt":"2022-11-30T00:50:45","slug":"photo-feature-uccs-kicks-off-50th-anniversary-at-festival-of-lights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=17322","title":{"rendered":"Photo feature: UCCS kicks off 50th anniversary at Festival of Lights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thousands of Colorado Springs residents lined Tejon Street \u00a0Dec. 6 to watch the 30th annual Festival of Lights Parade.<\/p>\n<p>The mild December night drew \u00a0more than 300 UCCS community members to the UCCS Alumni and Friends Association\u2019s \u201cUCCS Night at the Festival of Lights\u201d at GOCA 121, 121 S. Tejon where they enjoyed free cocoa, cider, treats and art before and after the parade.<\/p>\n<p>During the parade,\u00a0UCCS debuted a new float to honor the university\u2019s 50th anniversary year in 2015.
