Thanks to\u00a0above-average\u00a0temperatures, fall in the Pikes Peak region has produced sunshine, blue skies and colorful leaves.<\/p>\n

University Communications and Media Relation’s Jeff Foster and Philip Denman captured the scenery\u00a0across campus and are hosting a fall photo contest on the university’s Facebook page.<\/p>\n

“This is\u00a0a great way for faculty, staff and student to get involved and showcase the beauty of our campus,” Denman, social media and communications specialist, said.<\/p>\n

The photo contest lasts through Oct. 31 when a participant will be randomly selected to win a UCCS-themed prize package.<\/p>\n

Current submissions, as well as photos taken by the University Communications and Media Relations team, can be viewed\u00a0on the UCCS Facebook page<\/a>.\u00a0Those interesting in participating should submit their photos to socialmedia@uccs.edu<\/a> by Oct. 31 with their name and a brief description of the\u00a0photo.<\/p>\n
