Our accounting faculty are proud that we offer a personalized accounting program and that we \u2018know our students.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the CPA examination evolves, so too does the UCCS accounting program. The examination now features three core sections: financial accounting, auditing and regulation. The fourth section offers a choice between business analysis and reporting, information systems and controls, and tax compliance and planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Ranking:\u00a0UCCS ranks\u00a037th out of 283\u00a0medium-sized accounting programs nationwide (87th percentile) for first-time CPA exam pass rates, with an impressive\u00a063.6% pass rate. UCCS is the\u00a0top-ranked Colorado university\u00a0in this category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State Ranking:\u00a0UCCS ranks\u00a0third in Colorado\u00a0for overall pass rates across all test events, with a\u00a062.1% pass rate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comparative Averages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Average Pass Rates:\u00a054.3% for first attempts, 47.9% for all test events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Colorado Average Pass Rates:\u00a061.0% for first attempts, 52.3% for all test events.
