{"id":162596,"date":"2025-03-06T18:45:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-07T01:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=162596"},"modified":"2025-03-07T10:51:49","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T17:51:49","slug":"federal-transition-update-03-07-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=162596","title":{"rendered":"Federal Transition Update 03.07.25\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In January 2025, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives launched a UCCS Federal Transition Team, along with a corresponding informational webpage: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uccs.edu\/federal-updates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Updates<\/a>. The Federal Updates page includes all UCCS communications about the federal transition, as well as a list of resources for faculty and staff.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UCCS Federal Transition Team works in conjunction with the CU System guidance and UCCS Leadership on the federal transition to ensure timely communication and resources for the UCCS community. There will be updates each week in Friday\u2019s Communique newsletter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week\u2019s updates:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University of Colorado President Todd Saliman, together with the Chancellors of each University of Colorado campus, sent a message on Wednesday with updates from the CU System. <a href=\"https:\/\/view.com.cu.edu\/?qs=09e50380c9bab397c832f8c33ed0da85d63683b984ae3667ce15f9e718c8309a1754015aee79392e7a949a6daa83888ce65002826b5445096f3048d140bd1112e558592ba89826df815f3f8cfb275203688993cad0852828\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">That message may be viewed here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A new resource has been added to the Federal Transition page: A\u00a0frequently asked questions document intended to anticipate and answer questions that may be raised in response to the Dear Colleague Letter: Title VI of the Civil Rights Act in Light of Students for Fair Admissions v.
