Shout out to Season on behalf of all FDC families! When UCCS called the early release, she was out there with a shovel making sure the sidewalk was clear for all parents and FDC kiddos. It was a short turnaround from when campus closed to when all the parents were showing up and she was out there immediately making our school safe! FDC is lucky to have you Season!! <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Amy is a Graduate Student Specialist for two College of Public Service departments. She is currently training a new Graduate Student Specialist for another department. She has identified several administrative systems slowing down student enrollment during these critical weeks before the Spring semester. Amy connected students to course needs through phone calls, walk-in sessions, and emails, helping to buoy college enrollment numbers. Throughout this time of unusual busyness, she has been a positive voice and light to our graduate students, providing them with clear enrollment advice and helping reduce the stress and anxiety of the upcoming work. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Stephanie responded quickly in work to support the application process of students for a new D20 Principal Licensure cohort to start this Fall. She was integral in the communication and processing of applications to support this effort’s success. The cohorts prepare educational leaders in D20, a key partnership for UCCS beyond just the cohort in terms of community relations, undergraduate recruitment, and general goodwill. Thank you Stephanie!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I want to recognize Xuan for her ongoing mentorship and service to students. Since fall 2024 she has been actively meeting with a group of students to support their study habits, community building, and efficacy skills for a more fulfilling college experience. One student shared that Xuan’s support was so impactful that they changed their mind about disenrolling from UCCS. Most recently, another student worked with Xuan on a scholarship essay and was awarded $5,000! Xuan deeply cares about UCCS students and has created such a positive impact during her time here so far.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I want to recognize the fantastic work that Andrew, Andy and Angela have done organizing and coordinating the executive searches this semester. Having experienced the search process both as a committee co-chair and as a candidate, I can say that their expertise, professionalism and dedication made a huge difference in the successful outcomes of both searches. Additionally, by stepping up to serve in this way, these individuals helped (and will help, as they manage additional searches in the spring) to save UCCS nearly a half million dollars. Thank you!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
