Jonathan Royal, Philanthropic Research Strategy and Grants Program Manager, was recently recognized as the 2024 McCord Honoree for UCCS. The Charles McCord Award is annually awarded to advancement professionals across CU who exhibit the attributes of creativity, entrepreneurship, integrity, collegiality, loyalty, and vision.<\/p>\n\n\n

Since joining the team, Jon\u2019s efforts have resulted in more than a million dollars of philanthropic funding, and more than $2 million in total resource development in the past year alone.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was recognized by his peers for his heart of service, collegiality, and the support he provides to the larger team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon has been instrumental in helping the campus secure complex grants that require cross-campus and cross-partner collaboration. In service to the UCCS Advancement Division, Jon was actively involved in the Diversity and Inclusion plan and goals. He has been diligent in researching solutions to elevate opportunities in the midst of complexity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
