There are endless ways to aid students and the campus through contributions and giving. Each dollar brings us one step closer to fueling success for our students and faculty by building up scholarships and programs, bringing in resources and paving the way for the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building Legacies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Building legacies are philanthropic gifts that leave a mark on the UCCS campus community and future generations. Providing institutional donations gives students invaluable opportunities to thrive in enhanced environments with state-of-the-art equipment and resources. There are many donor-named buildings across the campus that foster learning, experiences and opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The T. Rowe Price Career and Innovation Center<\/a> was made possible by the generous and impactful support of T. Rowe Price, a global management investment firm. The transformational gift allowed campus to establish a significantly expanded career center where career services, community outreach and programming are readily available at the heart of campus.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Anschutz Engineering Center<\/a>, funded by The Anschutz Foundation and many other generous donors, brings significant opportunity for innovation and groundbreaking research to students. The space allows for nearly double the engineering students over the next few years and brings UCCS to the forefront of educating future leaders and pioneers of the growing aerospace and tech industries in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Kevin W. O\u2019Neil Cybersecurity Education and Research Center<\/a> was established in part thanks to the generous contribution from alumnus, philanthropist, entrepreneur and Colorado Springs native Kevin O\u2019Neil. A longtime pillar in the community and advocate for cybersecurity education, O\u2019Neil made a transformational gift that builds the foundation for future expansion and brings about new partnership opportunities for UCCS students and the growing cyber industry.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n

The Margot and John Lane Academic and Health Sciences Center<\/a> hosts several centers within its walls and expanded the CU School of Medicine Colorado Springs branch, partly made possible by the significant gift from the Lane family. By providing hands-on experiences for students over a wide range of curriculums and disciplines, the named space brings health science education and research front and center to create new healthcare models. <\/p>\n\n\n

Kraemer Family Library<\/a>, named for Sandy and Dorothy Kraemer, has been an important hub on campus for decades. Sandy Kramer was a university benefactor and CU Board of Regents member, and his named gift has supported library collections and programs for nearly 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n

In support of their longtime relationship with UCCS, Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center<\/a> was named for the Gallogly family. With alumni spanning generations, the Galloglys gave back to campus and helped bring about a sustainable, new structure with state-of-the-art equipment for optimal health and wellness practices.<\/p>\n\n\n

There are many other donor-funded spaces and facilities found on the UCCS campus that support and foster learning and enrichment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-monetary gifts<\/strong>
Donations of cultural significance and teaching benefit are a non-monetary way to support education. With resources that give hands-on learning and research opportunities, such as anthropological artifacts<\/a> and biological specimens<\/a>, students have access to vital tools and information through in-kind gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Gift Helps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Though it may not feel significant, the smallest gifts collectively bring us closer to large impact. The collective support to scholarships at UCCS helps remove financial barriers for students and ensures they can focus on their studies without experiencing financial burden. Any size can make goals possible \u2013 these combinations during fundraising, such as Giving Tuesday<\/a> and graduating students\u2019 giving back to the Class Gift <\/a>each semester, show their importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
