<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dewar joined in UCCS in 2014 and has worked in fundraising for almost forty years, along with launching a philanthropy management and counseling firm in 2010. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am honored and humbled to have been selected by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for this recognition \u2013 but clearly recognize that it is my great fortune to be associated with an organization like UCCS that is so positively perceived in Colorado and where exciting educational projects are being developed every day,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The opportunity to tell the story of UCCS\u2019s current student impact and our vision for the future is not only fun to share but encourages prospective donors to become valued partners.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;My personal needs for meaningful engagement include a passion for the mission, pride in my institution, and the opportunity to be surrounded by exceptional campus leadership and teammates who make coming to work a pleasure every day \u2013 and I am fortunate to find all of that at UCCS,&#8221;
