UCCS students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply for paid consulting opportunities through the Quad Innovation Alliance, which provides community-focused solutions to Colorado Springs businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Quad’s hybrid format fall semester program will run Sept. 19 – Dec. 9, 2022. Applications submitted by the early deadline of Sept. 1, 2022<\/strong> will guarantee students a place on their first- or second-choice projects. Applications must be received by the regular deadline of Sept. 7, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any current student or recent grad of UCCS, Colorado College, Pikes Peak Community College or the U.S. Air Force Academy is eligible regardless of current geographic location. The program entails a 10 to 15 hour weekly commitment, with a $1,350 award included with admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Quad Innovation Alliance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Quad is a joint initiative between UCCS, Colorado College, Pikes Peak Community College and the U.S. Air Force Academy. Students participating in the innovation consulting program help to research and design future initiatives for city, community and local organizations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students participating in Quad programs have the opportunity to add professional experience to their resumes, develop technical skills and advance their leadership abilities in a diverse, professional team environment. Past teams have worked on initiatives including engaging youth in electric energy solutions, improving public health, trust and safety, expanding behavioral health programs in schools and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each project team is comprised of four to seven interdisciplinary students representing at least three of the Quad\u2019s partner institutions. Students are given direction and assistance by professional management staff, and faculty advise with relevant subject matter expertise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
