More than\u00a0125 CU dignitaries and Colorado Springs community leaders attended a Feb. 19 ribbon cutting ceremony to\u00a0celebrate the completion of\u00a0the first UCCS \u00a0building on North Nevada Ave.<\/p>\n

The Lane Center for\u00a0Academic Health Sciences will house\u00a0five clinics operating under the banner of UCCS HealthCircle.\u00a0Services will include a primary care clinic as well as specialized services in nutrition, aging, physical activity and behavioral health.<\/p>\n

UCCS faculty and staff are invited to an open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 22.\u00a0Representatives from each clinic will be available to answer questions while attendees take self-guided tours through the building.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a great opportunity for faculty and staff to check out the newest UCCS building,\u201d Sara Qualls, Kraemer Family Professor of Aging, and director, Gerontology Center, said. \u201cThis is where health services and academics will meet, providing wellness, primary care, mental health and family support to our faculty and staff along with community residents.\u201d<\/p>\n
