{"id":1360,"date":"2010-07-29T15:53:22","date_gmt":"2010-07-29T21:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=1360"},"modified":"2017-01-05T11:49:01","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T18:49:01","slug":"business-earns-honors-from-local-newspaper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=1360","title":{"rendered":"Business earns honors from local newspaper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/csbj.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1361\" style=\"border: 0px;\" title=\"CSBJ Best Of\" src=\"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/csbj-252x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Readers of the <em>Colorado Springs Business Journal<\/em> selected winners in 82 categories as part of the newspaper\u2019s annual \u201cBest of Colorado Springs Business\u201d edition published July 23.<\/p>\n<p>Among the winners was the UCCS College of Business which was named \u201cBest Colorado Springs Business School\u201d and \u201cBest Colorado Springs MBA Program.\u201d\u00a0 It is the sixth year the college has been recognized in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe continued recognition by CSBJ readers lets us know that we are succeeding in our vision of being in the business of building successful futures,\u201d said Venkat Reddy, dean, College of Business. \u00a0\u201cWe are grateful that the hard work of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni is making a difference in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Business Journal<\/em> celebrated the winners July 22 with more than 250 guests attending an event at the University Center Ballroom.
