In fact, the American Cancer Society cites the top two reasons women give for not getting a mammogram are time and convenience.<\/p>\n<p>The Pink Life Saver, the University of Colorado Hospital\u2019s first mobile mammography unit, is a clinic on wheels that provides breast cancer screening services to women in the metro area. The brightly decorated, 38-foot-long vehicle houses a workstation, waiting area and changing room.<\/p>\n<p>The Pink Life Saver will be at the UCCS Be Colorado health screenings scheduled for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 22 at El-Pomar Center. The van will be parked in the loading dock area of the building.<\/p>\n<p>To make an appointment, call (720) 848-1030.
