Her video, \u201cDilemma,\u201d presented an ethical question regarding diversity in the workplace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NASBA SCPT annual video competition\nchallenges students to demonstrate the complexity of ethical dilemmas that\nprofessionals often face in their careers. Students can submit videos on a\nrange of topics that either provide a thought-provoking question or offer a\npossible solution to an ethical dilemma. The video submissions are reviewed by\na panel of judges and selected based on their originality, clarity, relevance\nand critical thinking skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students attending colleges and universities throughout the U.S. This year, Singh earned her first place title among a record-breaking 117 other student participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am pleased that Ashna applied the responsible management focus of our MBA program to offer a compelling message to other students and educators,\u201d said Tracy Gonzalez-Padron, director of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative at UCCS. \u00a0\u201cHer one minute video clearly articulates a diversity challenge in the workplace and this video will be very helpful for educators to use in discussion about ethical leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Student Center for Public Trust is a national network of college students who demonstrate a commitment to ethical leadership. The UCCS chapter works to provide student engagement opportunities through training sessions, conferences, community service projects and business ethics competitions. The UCCS SCPT is supported by the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Collegiate program at UCCS College of Business. The UCCS College of Business is one of eight original participating schools in the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.danielsfund.org\/Ethics\/Collegiate\" target=\"_blank\">Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Collegiate Program<\/a>\u00a0that now includes twelve partner schools. Since 2016, the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative at UCCS supports nine schools in the Southern Colorado Higher Education Consortium to expand principle-based ethics education. College presidents select educators to be Ethics Champions for their campus.
