Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences<\/a> is celebrating 100 percent internship match rate for the undergraduate and graduate nutrition program students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All six of the undergraduate nutrition students, and three graduate sports nutrition students have matched to dietetic internships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHistorically the match rate has been 50 percent, so to get all students matched during the COVID-19 pandemic, it\u2019s been good news,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uccs.edu\/johnsonbethel\/people\/card_hpnufaculty\/svette_sean\">Sean Svette<\/a>, the nutrition program director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students graduating with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uccs.edu\/johnsonbethel\/hpnu-programs\/bs-hsci-nutrition-optionnutrition-minor\">Bachelor of Science in Health Care Science \u2013 Nutrition option<\/a>, or known as Didactic Program in Dietetics, are equipped with skills to prepare them for future success in supervised practice leading to eligibility for the CDR credentialing exam to become a registered dietitian nutritionist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduate students in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uccs.edu\/johnsonbethel\/hpnu-programs\/ms-sport-nutrition\">Master of Sciences in Sport Nutrition<\/a> program have numerous opportunities for hands-on experiences within the university and community to raise their food literacy awareness and integrate their knowledge and skills within sport nutrition.\u202f <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>The Helen and Arthur E.
