The district incorporates the Mid-America region of the U.S. within the states of Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The goal was to tell the story of the UCCS student who comes from a middle class background, who often doesn&#8217;t qualify for the need-based financial aid and has to work multiple jobs to earn a university degree,&#8221;
