More than 30 scholarship funds benefited from this year\u2019s gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Started by the Class of 2015, the senior gift has raised over $40,000 for UCCS student scholarships. The goal for the seniors was both participation and to \u201cpay it forward\u201d for the next generation of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seniors who gave at least $10 wore a blue contribution cord during the commencement ceremonies Dec. 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fall graduates also included a number of legacy students who are children of UCCS graduates and who wore black and gold cords.
