Doughty previously served as a visiting assistant professor at Colorado State University-Pueblo and as an adjunct faculty member at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed postdoctoral research at Boston College and Brigham & Women\u2019s Hospital , Boston.<\/p>\n
She earned bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of New Hampshire and doctoral degree from Boston College.<\/p>\n Michelle Escasa-Dorne<\/b>, assistant professor, Anthropology Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n Ecasa-Dorne previously worked as a disease investigator for the Southern Nevada Health District where she investigated outbreaks of communicable diseases, interviewed patients, and collected data from local health clinics as well as blood samples. She also worked as an instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.<\/p>\n She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara; a master\u2019s from California State University, Fullerton; and doctoral degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.<\/p>\n Denise Garrett<\/b>, instructor, English Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n Garrett previously served as a teaching assistant at CU-Denver and completed a graduate student practicum at UCCS in addition to serving as a writing consultant.<\/p>\n She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from UCCS and master\u2019s degree from CU Denver.<\/p>\n Jessica Giles Copeland<\/b>, instructor, Psychology Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n Giles Copeland previous served as a visiting assistant professor at Colorado College, as a visiting scholar and lecturer at CU Boulder, as an assistant professor at Naropa University, Boulder, and as an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn.<\/p>\n She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a master\u2019s from Harvard University and doctoral degree from the University of California, San Diego.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Rhonda Glazier<\/b>, assistant professor, Kraemer Family Library. She will head collections management for the library.<\/p>\n Glazier previously held positions with the University of Denver, the Jefferson County (Colo.) Public Library, Texas Woman\u2019s University, Emporia (Kan.) State University, and the University of Missouri, Columbia.<\/p>\n She earned bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees from Emporia State University.<\/p>\n Al Glock,<\/b> instructor, Department of Computer Science, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n Glock previously spent 35 years as a software designer including working as a defense contractor, as a software manager for Northrup-Grumman and as a UCCS adjunct faculty member who taught software design and software requirements.<\/p>\n He earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from the United States Air Force Academy, a master\u2019s from Harvard University and diplomas from the U.S. Air Command Staff College and U.S. Air Force War College.<\/p>\n Stacey Johnson<\/b>, instructor, English Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.<\/p>\n Johnson previously served as an instructor at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, and Front Range Community College.<\/p>\n She earned bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, as well as a certificate in English as a second language tutoring.<\/p>\n Kathleen Kennedy,<\/b> assistant professor, Department of Management, College of Business.<\/p>\n Kennedy previously served as a post-doctoral scholar and adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University and as a postdoctoral fellow at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J.<\/p>\n She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from Rutgers University and master\u2019s and doctoral degrees from Princeton University.<\/p>\n Related articles:<\/p>\n Faculty join for fall semester Aug. 29<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<\/a><\/a>
