Get started by attending Retirement Ready: Social Security and Medicare, from Nov. 20 in University Center 116.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives from Social Security and Medicare will\ndeliver talks geared toward the needs of University of Colorado employees who\nare within five years of retirement. Employees may attend one presentation or both.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About each talk:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Social\nSecurity, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:<\/strong> Learn about Social Security retirement\nbenefits, pre-retirement planning, Medicare and working while retired, along\nwith important details such as the windfall elimination provision and\ngovernment pension offset.<\/li><li><strong>Medicare,\n1-2 p.m.:<\/strong> This presentation covers the four basic parts of Medicare:\nHospital Insurance, Medical Insurance, Medicare Advantage Plans and\nPrescription drug plans.
