All classes and activities scheduled for Oct. 28 are cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>On-campus students living in the residence halls will access to the dining facilities Monday. The Lodge and Roaring Fork dining facilities will have continuous dining until 7 p.m. All other dining areas and buildings will be closed, including the recreation center.<\/p>\n<p>For campus weather closures,&nbsp;UCCS uses multiple ways to communicate with students and employees through UCCS Alerts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Text messages \u2013 Make sure your number is registered with UCCS Alerts to receive emergency communications. Students are automatically enrolled with their contact information in their MyUCCS portal. Employees and parents can register as well through&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/rave.uccs.edu\/\">rave.uccs.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Email \u2013 All students and employees are registered to receive emergency communications to their UCCS email accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Website \u2013 Weather impacts are posted to the main&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uccs.edu\/\">uccs.edu<\/a>&nbsp;page,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/alerts.uccs.edu\/\">alerts.uccs.edu<\/a>&nbsp;and at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flashalertcs.net\/closures-time.html?alert=1\">FlashAlerts<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Social media \u2013 UCCS Alerts communication is posted to the Facebook and Twitter pages for UCCS Emergency Management, UCCS Police and the main UCCS account.<\/li>\n<li>Traditional media \u2013 During weather events, traditional broadcast and print media rely on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flashalertcs.net\/closures-time.html?alert=1\">FlashAlerts<\/a>&nbsp;for updated information on closures, and will also share that information.<\/li>\n<li>Phone \u2013 UCCS Police maintain a closure number at (719) 255-3346.
