Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach will present members of the UCCS Inline Hockey Club with a Spirit of the Springs Award during a brief ceremony\u00a0scheduled for 9 a.m. May 10 at the Campus Recreation Center.<\/p>\n
Bach will present the award to Taylor Gebhart, club president, and a sophomore\u00a0geography and environmental studies major. Bach\u00a0will recognize Mallory Price, intramural and club sports coordinator; Daniel Bowan, manager, Campus Recreation Center, and Matt Gaden, director, Campus Recreation Center.<\/p>\n
The 15-member Inline Hockey Club won a national championship April 14 at the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association Tournament in Fort Meyers, Fla.
