Participants will either walk or run along the marked course through campus. Aid stations will be provided along the route\u00a0for water and medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>Following the race, an awards ceremony will recognize the top three overall male and female winners, as well as the male and female winners within five separate age groups.<\/p>\n<p>The annual event is in honor of Ed Burke, professor, Biology, who died in Nov. 2002 from a heart attack while on a mountain bike ride.
