Brad Bayer, senior executive director, Student Life and Leadership, and Patty Witkowsky, assistant professor, Department of Leadership, Research and Foundations in the College of Education and coordinator for the Student Affairs in Higher Education program, both presented at the American College Personnel Association National Convention March 12 in Houston.

The two presented “Implementing a Divisional Assessment Plan Without Additional Resources.” Bayer co-leads assessment efforts in the Division of Student Success while Witkowsky serves as a faculty representative on the Student Success Internal Review Team. The presentation was selected as a sponsored program by the ACPA Commission for Assessment and Evaluation, which featured additional promotion at the convention for the approximately 3,500 attendees.

Witkowsky also presented “Influence of Bilingual Parent and Family Orientation Programs on Families” with Brett Bruner, director, Transition and Student Conduct, Fort Hays State University, and “Influence of Short-Term Study Abroad on Student Affairs Graduate Students.” It was the fifth year she has presented at the ACPA convention since 2010.
