Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak and Vice Chancellor Susan Szpyrka will lead a discussion about the factors that drive the cost of higher education during an October Chancellor’s Campus Forum scheduled for noon Oct. 26 in the University Center Theater.
Shockley-Zalabak and Szpyrka will share details of a CU System study that analyzed various cost metrics at all CU campuses. Included in the study were factors such as employee growth, wage growth, ratios of students to faculty and staff, employee benefit costs, and funding sources.
Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for faculty and staff to ask questions and for discussion.
All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend forums. For those unable to attend, a summary of the forum will be posted in Communique, usually within 24 hours of the event.
