Photo feature: UCCS celebrates homecoming with a bang

UCCS celebrated homecoming and the 50th anniversary with activities ranging from opening a time capsule and an alumni tailgate, to a spirit rally and fireworks show.

Students participated in the annual march from campus to Mountain Lion Stadium to watch the men’s and women’s soccer games. The women’s tied Colorado Mesa University 1-1 while the men’s team defeated South Dakota School of Mines and Technology 3-0.

Following the games, a large fireworks display and a bonfire celebrated the homecoming weekend and the university’s 50th anniversary.
