With spring-cleaning season just around the corner, a number of UCCS offices are preparing to move, while others settle into new spaces.
The Accounting and Budget & Planning offices moved to 1873 University Office Park on March 25. According to Gayanne Scott, assistant vice chancellor, Finance and Human Resources, the move provides more space for both units, which will be adding positions in the coming months.
The move also freed space within Cragmor Hall, resulting in several offices shifting. Portions of the Office of Veterans and Military Student Affairs have moved into Cragmor 105. Theatreworks will move into Cragmor 101 – Accounting’s previous space – beginning April 10.
The Office of Sustainability also recently moved. Previously located in the Campus Service Building, they have moved into what was once known as the Patterson House. The Sustainability House is located at 12 Cragmor Village Rd.
“The building is well suited to accommodate our office staff and students, as well as provide space for sustainability student groups such as the Green Action Fund and Students for Environmental Awareness and Sustainability,” Linda Kogan, director, Office of Sustainability, said. “We plan to utilize the house to pilot and showcase sustainable strategies such as xeriscape, energy efficiency, solar and more.”
Despite the move, all office telephone numbers will remain the same and interoffice mail service is still available.
