Dear Hoshi, Upon our return to States today (Oct 1st) after a month in Europe, we learned of Marge’s death. Greatly saddened, the loss of a dear and valued friend and colleague. Marge was a stable influence in my life for trustworthiness and honesty in an environment fraught with intellectual hypocrisy, and she stood valiantly for integrity and kindness in her interaction with other people. She was a fine example of human goodness and she will be dearly missed. Bonnie and I extend to you our heartfelt condolences and personal expression of love at your and our loss at this time. Warmest best wishes, Doug and Bonnie McKay (posted from Newark, NJ)
Dear Doug and Bonnie,
So true about Marge’s love for all, and her integrity and human goodness and kindness. She did, not see enemies but all a human family, and always said everybody has goodness in them. Let us find that goodness and celebrate that.
As you very well know, she was my lover and best friend for over 26 years, and I miss her bubbliness, her constant go go go, and can’t help feel that void in my life, which I feel today it will never be filled, without her presence. I know in spirit she is watching over me, and for that I am very grateful.
I am also so grateful for all the people who touched her life and she touched theirs, because that is the human spirit she always wanted to celebrate.
I choke up and can’t seem to make sense of this, and try as I might, to accept this as God’s devine plan, I only have one question, WHY?
I love all of you. I know she would want you all to know that she loved you all.
Hoshi.
