Budding scientists to compete Saturday

UCCS will host the Colorado Science Olympiad Southern Regional Tournament for middle and high school students from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

More than 900 middle school and high school students from around southern Colorado will compete in events that range from building a Rube Goldberg machine to a CSI style forensics exercise and wind and percussion instrument building contests. (More)

Graduate School to host open house

Individuals interested in additional education in preparation for career change or advancement are encouraged to attend an open house for graduate studies March 10 at UCCS.

The open house begins at 5:30 p.m. and will continue through 7 p.m. in University Center 303. The event is free. Parking is available at no charge in Lot 3 between 5 and 7:30 p.m. (More)

Earth movers make way to improved traffic flow
