Martin Wood, senior vice chancellor, University Advancement, was named the 2018 Outstanding Fundraising Executive by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Southern Colorado.
Individuals who enhance philanthropy in their communities and world through hard work and dedication are recognized each year. Wood received the award during the 2018 Summit on Philanthropy luncheon Sept. 28 in Berger Hall.

Wood chairs the Regional Leadership Forum, serves on the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation board and is a founding member of the Colorado Springs Regional Leaders Trips. He also serves as a board member for the National Cybersecurity Center.
