School of Public Affairs to host candidate debates in Denver

The School of Public Affairs will host a series of debates focused on issues facing Coloradans in the Nov. 2 election.

SPA is collaborating with the Denver Post and 9News on debates highlighting the U.S. Senate race, the gubernatorial race and statewide ballot issues on Oct. 11 and 13.

The U.S. Senate debate will be 7 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 at the King Center Concert Hall on the Auraria campus.

Candidates for Colorado Governor will face off 7 to 8 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Ed-2 South 600-seat lecture hall on the Anschutz Campus.

A forum on statewide ballot measures will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 600-seat lecture hall at Ed-2 South.

Candidates for the University of Colorado Board of Regents will debate at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in the second-floor meeting room at the Lawrence Street Center, 1380 Lawrence St.

A limited number of tickets are available for the senate and gubernatorial debates. Tickets are not required for the ballot measures forum or the Regents debate.
