Alumni sponsors Denver Botanic Gardens night

The UCCS Alumni and Friends Association will join with other CU campus alumni groups to host an evening of music, sculpture and nature July 30 at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

CU President Bruce Benson will join the group that will feature performances by students from Boulder, Colorado Springs and Denver campuses. From UCCS, the Jazz Ensemble featuring Elizabeth Erickson, Jay Baker, iPuto Hiranmayena and Adam Leitch will perform. In addition, the Denver Botanic Gardens feature stunning gardens, a landmark exhibition of 20 monumental works by British sculptor Henry Moore and the Mordecai Children’s Garden, an interactive experience with plants and other aspects of the natural world.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 4-12. The event is from 5:30-9:30 p.m. July 30 at the Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York Street, Denver.
